Tessah is a mom of three boys and believes all of our children should have access to nutrition and stable housing—things they need to grow and thrive. Tessah will advocate for early intervention programs in our schools to support students when they’re struggling the most, and make sure foster youth have access to services they need to be safe and supported.

When the Farm Bill passed in 2018, Tessah pioneered formal policies to provide new and improved banking services for farmers. This change kept farming alive in many rural communities throughout Oregon. As our State Representative, Tessah will advocate for farmers and their land so they can remain profitable and continue their way of life.

Clackamas County is home to some of Oregon’s most breathtaking wilderness. Tessah believes we can protect our forests for generations to come while also harvesting our natural resources responsibly. That’s why Tessah will advocate for the Cross Laminated Timber industry, which will bring family wage jobs to this district.
As your Clackamas County Water Commissioner, Tessah works hard so you can trust that the water coming out of your tap is clean. Tessah will work to bring all water facilities up to seismic code and invest in renewable gray water. Tessah knows nothing is more critical to farming than a reliable water supply and recognizes the hard work farmers do to irrigate and farm responsibly. Tessah will act to lower the cost of irrigation for our local farms. |
Tessah personally experienced homelessness as a girl, so she understands firsthand the positive impact that stable housing has on our children and families. Tessah will work with local leaders to build on affordable housing solutions already in progress and support policies that enable us to build denser housing in our neighborhoods.
